Confirm Booking

Once you have completed the booking with Be Positive, you will receive email confirmation that your booking has been received.  Once you have provided payment in full you will receive email confirmation that your booking has been accepted and confirmed.

Joining Instructions

Joining Instructions are typically sent to the delegate approximately 2 weeks prior to the event date provided that payment has been received. Be Positive are not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred as the result of cancellation or alteration.

Be Positive are not responsible for results of the exam(s). The courses are designed to match the syllabus required to study for the exam and the delegate will need to carry out self-study in order to maximise their chance of success in the exam.

Event Fees

The course fee is the fee published on the Be Positive website at the date and time of your booking.  All course fees are quoted exclusive of VAT which will be added, at the relevant rate, to the course fee at the time of booking.

Payment Terms

Payment is due immediately unless you have opted to pay by invoice in which case payment must be received in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date. If a course is booked in the 14 days before the event date, only online payments are accepted.

Be Positive reserves the right to cancel or change any public or in-house course and undertakes to provide reasonable notice of the cancellation or change except in the case of an emergency.  Be Positive will refund in full, all monies paid by the customer for event fees in respect of the cancelled/rescheduled events or alternatively apply such payments to an alternative course.

Be Positive will provide a full refund if they receive a request to cancel the event in writing via email to info@be-positive at least 30 days before the event date.  If notification of a cancellation is received between 15 and 30 days before the event date, 50% of the event fee will be refunded.  If notification to cancel is received less than 15 days before the event date, the event fee will not be refunded.

If Be Positive is not notified of any cancellation of a confirmed booking and the delegate does not attend the event – the full event fee will be payable.

Delegate Substitutions

Be Positive will allow customers to substitute an alternative attendee at any time before the first day of the event.  The customer must ensure that the payment terms have been satisfied (as specified above).

Storing Personal Information

Be Positive will comply with all statutory requirements of the Date Protection Act by registering all personal data held on its computer and/or related electronic equipment and by taking all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of such information. The Data Protection Act protects individuals’ rights concerning information about them held in a “relevant filing system”. Be Positive will consider the appropriate rules that apply and what retention periods are appropriate for each course. All customer data will be stored in a password protected area.

In House Events

The location and date of in-house events will be agreed with the customer at the time of booking. The customer will be advised of the venue requirements and agrees to provide a suitable venue.

Delivery of the Event

Please note that, unless agreed otherwise in writing, the event has not been designed to meet your individual requirements and therefore it is your responsibility to ensure that the event meets your requirements and that you satisfy the course entry requirements, e.g. any pre-requisite qualifications.

Copyright of Material

The Copyright of all course materials remains the sole and exclusive property of Be Positive. The customer undertakes that it will not copy or permit photocopying of materials, nor disclose or permit the disclosure or, sell or hire the same to third parties nor use the same for running the customer’s own events. You are allowed to download and print content from the website for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Consent to Photography/Filming

Delegates consent, unless you specifically request otherwise, to photography, filming and sound recording of the course where deemed necessary by Be Positive, for quality control and promotional purposes. The purchaser consents to the use of such media in any broadcast in any territory in the world.
